I'm a big fan of open source software and hardware development, both philosophically and as a practical methodology. I see them as embedded in the larger context of distributed P2P production, which is fundamentally transforming our society for the better.

I'm also an avid advocate of distributed power generation from renewable resources like solar, wind, and biogas, and electric vehicles powered by such resources.
